Using red light and near-infrared (NIR) therapy in your sauna can support the body’s natural detox and recovery processes, including the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps remove waste, toxins, and excess fluid from the body. Unlike the circulatory system, it relies on movement and stimulation to function efficiently.

For best results, use red light/NIR for 15–20 minutes during your sauna session, and consider light movement or dry brushing outside the sauna to further support lymphatic flow.

BEST PRACTICES FOR SAFE USE

Start slow and gradually increase time and temperature
Sit on a towel and wear minimal, breathable clothing
Cool down slowly after your session
Replenish fluids and electrolytes afterward

Do not use the sauna if you:

  • Are feeling ill (fever, infection, etc.)

  • Are dehydrated

  • Have consumed alcohol

  • Have recently taken medications that impair sweating or heat regulation (such as certain antihistamines, stimulants, or sedatives)

  • Have open wounds or recent injuries that may be aggravated by heat
